And ps the moral of the story is bollox, you gotta rent where you get the most bang for your buck - personally I prioritize space over location at this point in my life, but I’m older. I dunno, it’s a balance. Room mates are also a great idea. Depends though. Definitely background check anyone who you don’t totally know that well. Although I rented a place once with a girl I met on the street and we had a great time for two years. So, yeah, I have to go and make dinner now for my kids.
